Product Warranty

Last updated 1 November 2026

Warranty information and coverage guide for Carysil Australia products, supplied by The Wholesale Man Pty Ltd (ABN 41 162 306 998), trading as Carysil Australia. It is read together with our Terms of Use.

This voluntary warranty covers the manufacturing defects identified in the product schedule below. Carysil Australia provides the stated replacement product/parts benefit and, where expressly listed, separate labour cover. These warranty benefits are in addition to, and do not replace or restrict, any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable law. The policy applies to eligible purchases made on or after 1 November 2026 and does not reduce existing warranty commitments to earlier customers.

Domestic use. Ordinary household use in a private residence, including a home occupied by tenants; classification is based on the intended and actual use of the product, not simply who owns the property.

Commercial use. Business, hospitality, public, institutional or other non-household applications, including installations exposed to materially heavier use than ordinary household conditions.

Business purchases. Eligible business purchasers may be consumers for ACL purposes, depending on the transaction and goods. A shorter voluntary commercial-use warranty does not automatically remove statutory consumer guarantees. Products acquired for resale, production or manufacturing may fall outside those guarantees. This policy covers goods only.

Period start. Each period runs from the date of first supply to the end purchaser, supported by reasonable evidence of that date. Any applicable labour period starts on the same date, not when replacement work begins. A wholesale stock-holding period does not itself set the end purchaser’s warranty start date.

Separate periods. Replacement product/parts, cartridge, finish and labour cover are distinct promises. A listed product/parts period does not automatically extend the separately stated labour period. Where no labour period is listed, this voluntary warranty does not separately promise labour; however the ACL may require labour, transport, removal, reinstallation or other expenses to be covered regardless of the voluntary period.

All finishes. References to finishes mean original factory-applied finishes and cover manufacturing defects (not ordinary wear, accidental damage or damage caused by incorrect care). For PVD sinks, the structural warranty and the separate PVD colour/finish warranty run independently.

Limited Lifetime (Carysil granite sinks). This voluntary warranty covers manufacturing defects in the granite sink for as long as the original end purchaser owns the sink and it remains in use for its intended purpose. There is no fixed number-of-years limit. It applies to both domestic and commercial original end purchasers; the voluntary Limited Lifetime benefit does not transfer to a subsequent owner. Carysil Australia will provide a replacement product for an accepted claim. Rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.

The periods below are voluntary warranty benefits. Coverage depends on the nature and cause of the reported defect, and the applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees continue separately.

“All finishes” refers to original factory-applied finishes. Product or parts, cartridge, finish and labour periods apply separately as shown.

Exclusions apply only where the specified cause, rather than a product manufacturing defect, explains the fault. This additional warranty does not cover problems to the extent they are caused by the matters below, rather than a defect in the product itself:

  • Use and maintenance: normal wear and tear; damage from abrasive products or inappropriate chemicals; failure to follow reasonable product-specific care instructions where that causes the failure.
  • External damage: accidental impacts, unreasonable loads, misuse, vandalism, improper storage after supply, or transport damage occurring after risk has passed, where those events cause the defect.
  • Installation and environment: incorrect installation, non-compliant plumbing/electrical works, unsuitable water pressure or electrical supply, or persistent water ingress beyond the product’s intended use, where these cause the failure.
  • Alterations: unauthorised modifications or repairs, but only where they are responsible for the fault being claimed.

Fair assessment of reported defects. A claim will not be rejected solely because a surface has marks or because the product has been installed for some time. The cause of the reported failure will be assessed using relevant evidence. In particular, PVD peeling or coating separation may be a manufacturing defect and must not automatically be attributed to misuse.

These exclusions affect only the additional voluntary promise and do not limit any remedy required under the ACL.

Customers may submit a voluntary warranty claim by following the steps below. They may also approach the seller directly to seek any remedy available under Australian Consumer Law.

  1. Contact the seller. Contact the business from which the product was purchased, or contact Carysil Australia directly at enquiries@carysil.com.au or 31 Mount Erin Road, Campbelltown NSW 2560.
  2. Provide documentation. Provide reasonable proof of purchase (such as an invoice, bank transaction or new-home handover document), the product model/SKU and a description of the fault. Photos may assist but are not always required. Original packaging is not required.
  3. Provide access. Where goods have been installed, provide reasonable, safe access for inspection and any authorised work. Do not remove a large or fixed product unless arrangements have been agreed. Statutory collection and transport responsibilities remain unchanged.
  4. Assessment. Carysil Australia or an authorised representative will assess the reported fault fairly and within a reasonable time, considering the available evidence, this warranty and applicable consumer law.
  5. Remedy. Where the claim is accepted, the remedy may include replacement products, replacement components, labour where covered, or another remedy required under applicable law. The seller remains responsible for any remedies the ACL requires it to provide.

Please report any defect within a reasonable time after it becomes apparent. A claim is not automatically rejected merely because it is reported after the voluntary warranty period if the defect appeared within that period. Applicable ACL rights remain unaffected.

For an accepted manufacturing defect appearing during the applicable product/parts, cartridge, structural or finish period, Carysil Australia will provide a replacement affected product or replacement component, as appropriate to the covered defect and promise in the schedule. If a separately stated labour period is also in force, Carysil Australia will pay the reasonable labour directly required to complete the covered work. A different remedy may be arranged by agreement. These voluntary arrangements do not restrict the remedies required under the ACL, including the consumer’s right to choose a refund or replacement for a major failure where applicable.

Costs and access. For a valid claim under this voluntary warranty, Carysil Australia will bear the cost of the covered replacement product or part and reasonable direct assessment and freight expenses. Labour, removal or reinstallation are additional voluntary benefits only where included in the schedule or otherwise agreed. A claimant may initially bear incidental expenses not covered by this voluntary warranty, but this does not affect expenses recoverable under the ACL. Where Carysil asks a claimant to incur a reasonable covered claim expense, reimbursement may be requested by sending an itemised receipt and claim reference to enquiries@carysil.com.au or 31 Mount Erin Road, Campbelltown NSW 2560. For large, heavy or installed faulty goods, the supplier is responsible for collection and return expenses where required by law. Reasonable costs of returning goods found to breach consumer guarantees must be reimbursed as required by the ACL.

Assessment and service charges. Where a reasonable assessment establishes there is no covered manufacturing defect or statutory entitlement, Carysil Australia may offer a chargeable service only after the customer has been informed of and accepted the proposed fee. No inspection, handling or call-out fee will be imposed for a valid claim where doing so would conflict with applicable law. Customers should provide safe, reasonable access; Carysil may arrange a later visit if access is not available. This does not exclude remedies for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage under the ACL.

Unavailable or discontinued products. Where the identical product or part is unavailable, Carysil may propose a reasonably equivalent replacement under this voluntary warranty, subject to customer agreement and any remedy required by law. Material differences in appearance, fit or specifications will be disclosed before a substitution is arranged.

Component-only replacement. Where suitable, Carysil may replace the affected component rather than the entire product under the voluntary warranty, including cartridges, handles, hinges, runners, LED components, sink wastes and seals. This does not limit any right to a replacement product, repair or refund under the ACL.

The benefits of this voluntary warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available under law. Statutory consumer guarantees can apply beyond the voluntary warranty periods and cannot be excluded. The following prescribed notice applies to goods:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Claims and assistance. For warranty claims and correspondence, contact Carysil Australia at enquiries@carysil.com.au or write to The Wholesale Man Pty Ltd, 31 Mount Erin Road, Campbelltown NSW 2560, Australia.

This policy applies to eligible purchases made on or after 1 November 2026. Existing warranty commitments for earlier purchasers are not reduced. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
